Global Wellness – From the Individual, to the Community, to the Planet – June 29, 2016
Presented by Patrick Williams, EdD, MCC, CWP
Founder, Institute for Life Coach Training and Coaching the Global Village
Keynote Closing Address at the
41st Annual National Wellness conference, June 29, 2016
Keynote Description:
The world needs global warming–not the glacial kind, the relational kind! During this keynote address, Dr. Williams presents a challenge: that all wellness initiatives include a vision of wellness that looks beyond the individual and the company to the global community. Drawing on his training throughout the world, he will share how wellness professionals have the power to ignite a new movement of well-being and optimal living that focuses on interpersonal, cross-cultural and community wellness.
Considering global well-being in our current wellness promotion efforts could enhance our inherent value of living optimally and bring the same to communities where opportunities and resources are limited. Through broadly defined civic engagement, we can foster sustainable change in ourselves, our communities, and beyond. Discover how you can incorporate coaching conversations, leadership development, and community well-being into your practice and be part of this movement toward global “warming” in wellness.
