We all find it difficult to be totally honest at all times, but it’s important to find the right time, place, and person for those moments of total honesty and emotional nakedness.
The longer you hold onto conversations and feelings and allow them to go unfinished or unspoken, the more what you’re trying to avoid festers and grows into a volatile or destructive infection.
In my career as a psychologist, and a Life and Wellness Coach, I have assisted and encouraged people to take on these spoken and unspoken conversations that need to happen. I encourage people to create positive outcomes from careful self-disclosure, and do it now.
Our life experiences may include memories of bumps and bruises along the way, but they no longer need to be painful. Our life gives experiences to us, and what we make of them is the key — and we don’t have to do it all alone!
